Car jumps curb, hits 2 teenage girls

CANOGA PARK, Calif. Police responded to the accident at the corner of Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Bassett Street just before 8 a.m.

One of the victims was transported by helicopter to UCLA Medical Center for treatment.

Police have not said why the car jumped the curb, but the driver remained at the scene and is said to be cooperating with investigators.

The victims, believed to be 14 and 15-years-old, are both said to be in satisfactory condition.
