Migraine sufferers prone to blood clots

A new study found that migraine patients face a higher risk for blood clots in their veins.

It's been thought migraine sufferers were more prone to a buildup of fatty deposits in the arteries, but the study now says that's likely not the case.

The study found people who develop blood clots in their veins are also at an increased risk to develop clots in the arteries, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke.
