Police search for suspect on crime spree

ARCADIA, Calif. Authorities have released a sketch that resembles the armed suspect that is responsible for a residential burglary, and two carjackings early Friday morning in Arcadia.

"This person is very dangerous. He is responsible for three felonies in our city. Two of them were armed carjackings. We would like the public's help in identifying who it is," said Lt. Bob Anderson, Arcadia Police Department.

A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, says her friend was victimized by the suspect. She explained what happened to her friend at 6:45 Friday morning.

"One guy who was tall and slim rushed into the house and pointed the gun. He asked for the car keys," said the neighbor.

Authorities are also investigating whether the same suspect is responsible for shooting a man on the 3700 block of Rosemead at a commercial building, and later carjacking another vehicle a few blocks away on Walnut Grove.

"Once again we do not know if any of the incidents are related, but we are working with the other agencies to see if there are any other connections to each other," said Sgt. Tri Hoang, L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

The victim shot at the commercial building was transported to a local trauma center and the extent of his injuries are unknown.

If you have any information about the suspect or the crimes you are asked to call the Arcadia Police Department at (626) 574-5151.
