Oprah explains why Palin not a guest

CHICAGO Oprah Winfrey endorsed Democratic candidate Barack Obama earlier this year. However, a report came out that she would be happy to have Republican vice presidential candidate Governor Sarah Palin on her show after the election is over.

Oprah Winfrey said, in a written statement, that she did not want her show to be used as a platform for any of the candidates.

She spoke about the issue on Friday's show. Oprah also said she was asked to have Michelle Obama on the show, but she declined for the same reason.
