A new study shows forgetfulness, even the occasional kind, may be tied to a loss of brain volume.Researchers studied the brain scans of more than 500 people suffering from memory loss and found that the size of their hippocampus was smaller. The hippocampus is the part of the brain important for memory.
Researchers say their findings are not considered an early sign of dementia.
The study appears in this month's issue of Neurology.
