Order to boil water in Downey an error
DOWNEY, Calif. Thursday, the mayor and city council held a special meeting, open to the public, to talk about the order and its effect on the city. The three-day order was issued on September 25 after a lab said coliform was present in the water. Days later, city officials say they received a letter from the lab admitting an error in the testing.
