DJ AM credits crash for saving his life

LOS ANGELES He was traveling with former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker in South Carolina last month, when their plane crashed on take-off.

Four people died, but DJ AM and Barker survived.

DJ AM's real name is Adam Goldstein, and he tells People magazine doctors found a blood clot when they were treating him for burns.

He said the clot could have traveled to his heart.

Doctors treated the problem.
