They're actually people representing an encyclopedia of knowledge on various subjects, ranging from two Buddhists, a cancer survivor and even a nudist -- 14 people, 'or living books' in all.
The hope is that patrons will learn about culture and beliefs of other people, as well as erase stereotypes.
Visitors were allowed to check out any of the books for up to 30 minutes.
