Massive street fight injures three

October 19, 2008 12:00:00 AM PDT
A street fight with as many as 40 participants in San Jacinto left three people suffering with multiple stab wounds, a sheriff's official said. The trouble was first reported as a "large fight" about 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of North Jordan Avenue, according to sheriff's Sgt. David Kurylowicz.

Numerous residents called 911 to report 30 to 40 males in the street fighting, Kurylowicz said. As deputies arrived on North Jordan, a crowd dispersed and deputies found three males lying in the street with multiple stab wounds, Kurylowicz said.

The victims were taken to hospitals and are expected to recover.

It was not clear from Kurylowicz's what preceded the incident. Kurylowicz encouraged anyone with information to call sheriff's Investigator Dave Josker at (951) 791-3423.
