Health problems with the Western diet

A new report in the Journal Circulation looked at the dietary patterns of 52 countries and finds the "western diet" accounts for 30 percent of world heart attacks.

Typical western diets include fried foods, red meat, salty snacks and dairy products.

Experts say a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables can help reduce heart attack risk 30 percent.
