Crews clean up wreckage of train crash

ONTARIO, Calif. The crash happened on Monday night around 8 p.m.

Union Pacific says one of its trains was carrying cargo from Colton to L.A. when it collided with a semi-trailer that was stopped on the train tracks and wasn't able to get out of the way.

The train's driver tried to stop, but couldn't in time.

The impact caused the locomotive's windows to shatter and damaged the signal system.

Crews have been working to repair it.
