Money offered in yacht killings case?

SANTA ANA, Calif. Deleon was convicted of tying a couple to an anchor and throwing them overboard so he could steal their yacht.

A Santa Ana jury is trying to decide if Deleon should be given the death penalty or life in prison without parole.

On Wednesday, the prosecutor told the panel that Deleon offered money to fellow inmates to corroborate his story with police. The prosecutor also said Deleon threatened to finger his cousin's father for the crimes.
