MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --The University of Minnesota isn't just preventing the flu this season, it may have set a new world record.The university claims it set a new Guinness World record for the most flu shots given in a single day. More than 11,500 people turned out to get a poke in the arm in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
The previous world flu shot record was set in Sanford, Florida, a couple of years ago, where 3,200 people took part.
