WATTS, Calif. --Authorities have charged the man who allegedly shot a Los Angeles police officer with three counts of attempted murder and six other felonies.Police said Samuel Jackson shot at three officers responding to a home during a seven-hour standoff in Watts last week. One officer was hit in the arm and near the upper torso in his bulletproof vest. The other two officers were not injured.
Jackson is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday. He is being held on $1 million bail.
