PASADENA, Calif. --The Pasadena Police Department is getting nearly $233,000 from the state in an effort to prevent traffic deaths and injuries.The safety grant will specifically target drunk drivers, those driving with suspended or revoked licenses, illegal street racing, red light runners and seat belt violations.
The money will be used to fund additional checkpoints on Pasadena streets as well as special enforcement operations.
