LOS ANGELES --L.A. County prosecutors have decided not to press charges against outgoing Supervisor Yvonne Burke over allegations she lied about her primary residence.Burke represents the second district and has a home in Mar Vista, which is in that area, but she also owns a home in Brentwood, and an L.A. Times article contended that was her primary residence.
The D.A.'s Office says it could not prove she intended to move to Brentwood when she registered to vote in 2006, when using the Mar Vista address.
Burke retires next month.
