The request comes after rapper Kanye West was arrested at the airport for allegedly breaking a photographer's equipment.
A separate motion to restrict paparazzi on city streets has been sent to the public safety committee that suggests banning commercial photography within 20 feet of schools, hospitals and medical facilities.
