SAG to hold strike vote next month

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. SAG's president announced that the guild will hold a strike vote next month.

Mediated talks between SAG and the major Hollywood studios broke down last weekend.

The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers says SAG is asking for a better deal than the other unions that have already settled.

The vote would take more than a month and requires a 75 percent approval to pass.
