Firefighters were responding to an unrelated medical assistance call when they smelled smoke.
After tracing the smoke to a triplex, they discovered the body of a woman. She was in an upstairs bedroom, where authorities believe the fire started.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, but the cause of death has not been determined yet.
