Nearly 200 hours of Nixon tapes released

YORBA LINDA, Calif. The Nixon Library in Yorba Linda released nearly 200 hours of White House conversations and 90,000 pages of documents on Tuesday morning.

They cover Nixon's re-election, the bombing of North Vietnam and also his peace plans for the country.

The information sheds new light on how much the administration struggled with growing public unrest over the Vietnam War.

It also includes files from Nixon's attorney, who helped in the fight over white house tapes that revealed nixon's complicity in the watergate scandal.
