Persons of interest sought in Ruffalo case

Police will not confirm Ruffalo shooting
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. Scott Ruffalo, 39, was found with a gunshot wound to his head early Monday in Beverly Hills, and police are now looking for two people in connection with this case.

Beverly Hills police aren't saying much about the shooting investigation.

The publicist for 41-year-old actor Mark Ruffalo says Ruffalo's brother was shot in his Beverly Hills condominium on the 400 block of North Palm Drive Monday morning. The publicist says Scott was shot in the head and is clinging to life.

"There is a person that sustained a gunshot wound, but the detectives are not releasing the identification of that person," said Beverly Hills Police Lieutenant Tony Lee.

"We have two people of interest that the detectives are looking for," Lee said. "One is Brian Scofield and the other one is Sasha Adham. We're hoping that the public can help us out in locating these individuals. ... They could be involved. There is certainly a nexus and that's the reason why we need to speak with these individuals. And we're hoping that if they're watching this they would go ahead and contact our detectives right away."

Beverly Hills Police say they need the public's help. Anyone that can help is asked to call Beverly Hills detectives at (310) 288-2656.
