December 8, 2008 6:50:55 AM PST
A brazen gas station robbery in Lakewood is caught on tape, and the suspect is still on the loose.Authorities said a Mobil employee at the station on the 5500 block of East South Street put money in a bag and drove to a second gas station about a mile away on Sunday at about 10 p.m.

The employee entered the second station and headed toward the back room, and on the video, the suspect can be seen entering and tackling the employee, then taking the cash.

The suspect fled in a newer model Scion xB with about $20,000 to $25,000, according to Sgt. Dana Camarillo from the L.A. County Sheriff's.

The employee was not seriously injured.

The suspect was described as a male black, between 20 to 22 years of age.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Lakewood Sheriff's Station at (562) 623-3500.
