SAG will also hold another meeting on Wednesday with publicists and managers. Both of those groups would take a serious financial hit in the event of a strike.
Some SAG members said that the only way to get what they need from the studios was to strike. Many said they don't want to strike, but if they have to, they will.
SAG members are expected to vote on the strike authorization later this month.
