Santa brings warm beds to O.C. family

SANTA ANA, Calif. Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas! Ten-year-old Natalie Berber cuddles up every night on the floor to sleep. This child has never owned a bed. While many other children are hoping Santa brings them lots of toys this holiday, Natalie is simply hoping, wishing, Santa would bring her a bed and beds for the rest of her family.

" 'We would like to have at least bunk beds,' " said Santa Claus, reading Natalie's letter.

"I know my family was suffering so I wrote a letter," said Natalie.

Santa was so deeply touched by this heartwarming wish from a child, he sent his elves from the Santa Ana Fire Department and the Raise Foundation to provide an essential that every person deserves: a warm bed.

"I'm so happy," said Natalie.

For the first time in her 10 years of life, Natalie will experience the joy of snuggling up and sleeping in her own bed.

"I think it's a really great holiday. I hope you guys enjoy it too and Merry Christmas to everybody," said Natalie.

To top off the holiday spirit Santa added and few other presents and more to assure Natalie and her family and many others suffering this holiday to never give up hope. There's always a brighter day.

"I never knew it was going to be something like this. Very emotional for my daughter and for my kids too," said Nancy Alvarado, Natalie's mother.
