More than 500 families received much needed gifts of food, appliances, blankets and gift cards.
Organizers say they'll continue to help the fire victims.
"Especially during the holiday season it's very difficult to realize that you lost your home," said Councilman Alarcon. "We wanted to have the community show that we are not only going to take care of these people during the holidays, but we are going to continue to help them as time goes on."
Organizers still need donations to help the affected families.
