New guideline for childhood vaccinations

A yearly flu shot for all children six months and older and a second dose of the rotavirus vaccine to protect kids against the leading cause of severe diarrhea.

The American Academy of Pediatrics also spoke out against the growing practice of delaying vaccines.

It says children who don't get vaccines on schedule are at increased risk for catching infectious diseases.
