Robbers tie up, slap jewelry store owner

Orange County Sheriff's detectives need the public's help to track down two jewelry store robbers who tied up and slapped their victim.The suspects hit Pacific Park Jewelers at 27271 La Paz Road in Laguna Niguel on Saturday as the owner was closing up.

The men gagged the man, tied him to a chair and slapped him.

They fled with a substantial amount of jewels and cash from the safe.

The jewelry store owner was not seriously hurt.

The robbers were described as Latinos in their early 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, with short hair in a buzz-cut. One wore a red jacket and the other a white jacket. No vehicle was seen.
