Breast feeding better for kids' lungs

A new study suggests children who are breast fed for at least four months may have better lung function than children who are breast fed for shorter periods or bottle fed.

Researchers say the statistically significant increase in lung capacity and increased airflow is likely related to the physical exercise from suckling.

The study is published in the journal Thorax.
