Tips to reduce damage from potholes

The /*Auto Club of Southern California*/ experts say to maintain proper air pressure in tires when driving over potholes and always leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you.

Be sure to drive at a safe speed and reduce your speed when approaching potholes.

After you drive over a pothole, hold your steering wheel tightly, and never brake while driving over a pothole.

Experts also warn drivers to watch out for water; it may be hiding a pothole.
