LOS ANGELES --Two LAPD officers injured in a traffic collision in South Los Angeles are recovering Monday morning. The two male officers were leaving the scene of an earlier accident at Broadway and Colden Avenue when their patrol car was struck by a vehicle trying to make a left turn at about 9 p.m. Sunday.
The impact pushed the patrol car into a parked vehicle.
Both officers were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. The other driver was also injured.
No one was arrested after the accident.
