The data storage company started in the early 90s and has grown to over 8,000 employees. Employees at NetApp said it's all about the work environment.
"Part of the company's value is the people and knowing how to treat those people so that they feel like this is the best place to work," said Amy Winsor, an employee.
"And you know, I've been working here 11 years, and I'll be here another 11 if they'll let me," Winsor said.

/*DreamWorks Animation*/ in Glendale ranked 47 in the nation, and Mattel in El Segundo was ranked 48 on the list.
Irvine's /*Alcon Laboratories*/ also made the list at number 74.
