Study links preemies with autism signs

Researchers at Boston University and Harvard studied nearly 1,000 children who were born at least three months prematurely. They found that 21 percent of the kids screened positive for autism.

Since most doctors don't formally diagnose autism until a child is 3, this may serve more as an early warning sign for a possible later diagnosis.
