INDIO Sir Paul McCartney will headline the 2009 Coachella Festival. The three day annual music and arts festival kicks off on April 17.

The event features many genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop, and Electronic music as well as large sculptural art.

The event will be held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio.
