Help needed in L.B. grandma murder

The family of a murdered Long Beach grandmother is asking the public for help finding the killer.Police said 76-year-old Leam Sovanasy was found in her home with multiple stab wounds in her upper body at about 11 a.m.

Sovanasy lived on the 1400 block of Peterson Avenue.

Detectives believe she was killed shortly before family members found her, but they have not determined a motive for the murder.

She was the matriarch of her family, which includes seven children and 25 grandchildren.
