US Airways to charge for pillow, blanket

The airline lost more than a half a billion dollars in the last quarter and says January traffic was off more than six percent.

The new charge is an extension of what a US Airways spokesman calls the "pay for what you choose and use" deal.

For $7 passengers get what the airline calls its power nap sack. The sack includes a fleece blanket, a pillow, eye shades, ear plugs and a $10 coupon for items in the Sky Mall catalogue.
