Too much vitamin E may put baby at risk

New research shows high levels of vitamin E in early pregnancy may increase a baby's risk of being born with a heart defect by 70 percent.Experts say high levels of vitamin E may cause an imbalance in the oxidant-antioxidant state in embryonic tissues.

The study appears in the International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
