LOS ANGELES --A verdict is scheduled to be read Thursday morning in the trial of a man charged with murdering a South L.A. liquor store owner. Larry Stewart is accused of murdering 58-year-old Sang Yun Kim inside Kimbo's Liquor and Junior Market in 2005.
Prosecutors say Kim was severely beaten, strangled and burned with bleach during a robbery.
If Stewart is found guilty, prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty.
