ANAHEIM, Calif. --Three Orange County hospitals are among 10 statewide that have been fined by the state Department of Public Health for various shortcomings.Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center was fined because it did not follow procedures for the safe and accurate administration of medicines.
Santa Ana's Western Medical Center was cited because it did not adequately investigate an assault on a patient.
Anaheim General was cited for its management of the dietary department.
All the fines were for $25,000.
