L.A. parents to pay for kids' vandalism

LOS ANGELES L.A. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo will announce the new ordinance later Tuesday.

It will give the city the right to sue taggers and their parents or legal guardians to cover graffiti-related costs.

Local leaders are also pushing for parallel legislation at the state level.

Los Angeles County already has a similar ordinance.
