Unibrow Bandit robs 2 O.C. businesses

Police in Orange County are searching for the so-called "Unibrow Bandit" who robbed two Mission Viejo businesses at gunpoint in less than 20 minutes.Surveillance video shows the suspect pointing a gun at a clerk at a Baskin Robbins along Los Alisos Boulevard in Mission Viejo just after 9 p.m. Tuesday. He demanded money from the register and threatened the employee, forcing him to destroy his cell phone.

The suspect fled with less than $100 in cash.

Minutes later, deputies say the same man robbed a Mobil gas station about a mile away on Trabuco Road.

The "Unibrow Bandit" is described as a white man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build. He has a unibrow and a scar on his left cheek.

The suspect wore a dark beanie, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and black gloves.
