JEFFERSON PARK, Calif. --
Hundreds of people marched through Jefferson Park Saturday to commemorate the 41st anniversary of Martin Luther King Junior's assassination. Marchers celebrated the legacy of Dr. King by encouraging participants to make their voices heard on several political issues. The marchers called for an end to school budget cuts and urged lawmakers to pass the "Employment Free Choice Act", which protects workers' rights to unionize.
