Innocent woman killed after Rialto pursuit

RIALTO, Calif. The chase started when a driver refused to stop for a routine traffic violation in San Bernardino. The chase ended in Rialto when the car rear-ended a Honda full of people, including a pregnant woman, at Foothill Boulevard and Riverside Avenue.

Police said 40-year-old Margarita Dominguez died at the scene. The pregnant woman suffered moderate injuries and is expected to be alright.

Officers arrested the 19-year-old driver, Johnny Morales, at the scene, along with a passenger in his car for a parole violation.

Police said Morales was intoxicated at the time of the accident and will likely face manslaughter charges.

Two other people in the Honda suffered minor injuries.
