Angels fatal fight: 2 men surrender

ANAHEIM, Calif. Police were searching for two men seen in a surveillance photo taken at Angel Stadium Monday night after a fatal fight.

Anaheim police detectives say the men came forward Thursday after seeing themselves in the surveillance photo that had been released to local television news outlets.

They say the men have been interviewed, and they were involved in the fight, but no arrests have been made.

The investigation is continuing.

Brian Powers, 27, of Buena Park died as a result of injuries from the fight in a stairwell near the stadium's right field stands.

Police say Powers was found unconscious and bleeding from the head, and was later declared brain dead.

Police are still looking for additional witnesses. Since the fight took place near one of the stadium's primary exits, police believe there were likely many witnesses.

Anyone with information should call the Anaheim Police Department at (714) 765-1944.
