Apparently, it isn't the first time.
"She's got in my purse and ate two dollar bills and money. She likes money, so maybe she should get a job," said Penny's owner Nancy Davis.
Davis says it is getting especially tough to deter Penny.
"I think she will keep doing this. She hunted these out of a box, took the wrappers off and everything."
The veterinarian says Penny will be just fine, even though her habit is turning out to be very costly for her owner.
