Loud explosions to be heard in O.C. area

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. The blasts are part of explosives exercises scheduled for those days. The explosions may be heard up to 50 miles away from the base.
The drills are scheduled between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. both days.
