Amber Alert issued for 22-month-old girl

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. The CHP says 26-year-old /*Luis Meza Valdiva*/ took his daughter, Yoseeline Carolina Meza, from her home in San Leandro around 5 p.m. Wednesday. Officers believe he is now heading to Mexico.

Valdiva is driving a white 1992 four-door Toyota Camry, with California license plate 5GBD911. He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Yosseline has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white long sleeve T-shirt and beige sweat pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Alameda County Sheriff's Department at (510) 667-7721.

Freeway signs in Los Angeles County were activated just before 6 a.m. The Alameda County Sheriff's Department is handling the child abduction, with the assistance of the CHP.
