Graffiti warns school of possible threat

LOS ANGELES The Web site for Hamilton High School said someone had scrawled a threat saying there would be an act of violence on campus on Friday, and school officials confirmed the graffiti mentioned a racially motivated incident.

Police did not say what the graffiti said.

Classes are continuing as normal without interruption.

LAUSD school police are providing the primary security on campus, with LAPD as backup and support.
