The Utleys say 70-mile-an-hour winds carried Tinker Bell from the market.
They were upset to lose their 8-month-old pet and turned to the media for help. A psychic heard the couple's appeal on the radio and directed them to a wooded area about a mile from the market.
The Utleys said they found Tinker Bell there, a bit dirty and very hungry, but otherwise in good condition.
Dorothy Utley said the dog "just went wild" when she saw the couple.
