Officials say that on April 13, Alvarez attended the /*Dodgers*/ game with a couple and another man. Alvarez and the victim got into an argument and Alvarez allegedly stabbed the man in the back, arm and body several times. Alvarez allegedly fled in a black /*Ford*/ pickup truck.
Alvarez was charged with one count of attempted murder with the special allegations of personal use of a deadly weapon, a knife, and causing great bodily injury. He is being held on $550,000 bail pending a May 14 hearing.
