Obstacles while fighting Lynwood fire

LYNWOOD, Calif. The vacant home was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived at about 11:40 p.m.

As firefighters battled the blaze and worked around live power lines that had fallen, residents from next door ran over, asking them to help a neighbor who had a heart attack.

Firefighters went to help the woman, and she was transported to the hospital.

Despite all the obstacles, firefighters knocked down the blaze in about 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
